Telefónica de Argentina is an integrated telecommunications operator which has been providing telephone and data transmission services to most regions in the country since 1990.

In 2002, a new system was implemented for managing the allocation of network physical components (transmission, optical fiber, and switching exchanges) in order to meet service requirements by centralizing information, optimizing network allocation, and providing support to incidents.
