Nixor provides technological developments to Citi Argentina and Citi LATAM, being one of the few certified providers both in Argentina and in the region. For this reason and in view of Nixor’s good internal references in other regional projects, in mid-2005, the Imaging Team & Workflow Group invited Nixor to bid for the development of a web application to interact with its Citidocs workflow and document and image management system. This application was undergoing internal reengineering to move to a multitier architecture with J2EE technology so as to decrease the project TCO. Another goal was that the functionality should not be added to each client application but to a single Citidocs Transaction Server that would publish this functionality to several clients.
