BACKGROUND

  • 1989. NIXOR is set up as a follow-up to the technical and business activities started in 1982 by the Studnitz, Suárez & Asociados consulting firm.

  • 1990. A restructuring process is undertaken to provide services mainly oriented to the development of database-supported applications in fourth-generation programming languages.

  • 1991. The capability to develop client-server applications in a Windows environment is added.

  • 1993. Our supply of professional services is enhanced through the in-house modality.

  • 1996. The supply of consulting, reengineering and development services with Workflow tools is introduced. Technology and knowledge are added for web-based project and application development in Internet, extranet or intranet environments.

  • 1997. Due to our involvement in regional projects for Citicorp Services Inc., a branch was established in the United States.

  • 1998. ORACLE technology and resources are added to our services supply.

  • 1999. An agreement is signed with QUEST Software to distribute and support its products in Argentina.

  • 2000. The Internet-based service front-end is developed for Citibank’s corporate clients outside the United States, earning the company Global Finance Magazine’s “Best Corporate Bank” award among Internet banks in Latin America.

  • 2002. J2EE technology-based projects begin to be developed.

  • 2003. The certification as Grupo Telefónica’s IT providers is obtained.

  • 2005. Technology, resources and knowledge for .Net, J2EE, J2SE and SOA-based project development are introduced.

  • 2007. We moved to our new offices in the city of Buenos Aires is opened, which are fitted with new technology and equipment with the aim of meeting our clients’ increasing demand and enhancing the quality of our services.
